As part of my study abroad experience in Florence, Italy, I took a sculpture class at the Florence University of the Arts. In addition to studying and analyzing the hundreds of sculptures that surrounded us within Florence, we were able to experiment with clay to create our own masterpieces. I most enjoyed our studies of the human figure and created a miniature ballerina inspired by one of my favorite artists, Edgar Degas.
